QuickBooks App Privacy Policy

Overview

This policy explains how the Justin’s Assistant QuickBooks Online integration (the “App”) handles data. The App is private, internal software operated by Justin Brown (sole proprietor), Victorville, California, to connect his own businesses’ QuickBooks Online accounts to his internal billing and accounting tools. It is not offered to the public. Use of the App is also subject to the End-User License Agreement.

Data the App accesses

The App accesses QuickBooks Online data only after the account owner authorizes it through Intuit’s OAuth process. Depending on the permissions granted, this may include:

• Customer data (such as names, contact details, and balances)
• Invoice data (such as line items, amounts, due dates, and status)
• Payment data (such as payments received and applied to invoices)
• Company and account data needed for billing and collections (such as company name, settings, and chart of accounts)

How data is used

Data is used only to provide Justin Brown’s internal billing, invoicing, collections, and accounting workflows, such as creating and sending invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances. It is not used for any other purpose.

Storage and security

OAuth tokens are stored securely and are never shared publicly. Access to QuickBooks data and tokens is limited to Justin Brown and the tools he authorizes to operate the App. Data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described above, and reasonable measures are used to protect it.

Sharing

QuickBooks data is not sold and is not shared for marketing purposes. It is not shared with third parties, except with service providers needed to operate the App (for example, hosting or infrastructure providers) or when required by law.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time by disconnecting the App from the QuickBooks Online account’s Apps settings, or by emailing justinb673@gmail.com. After access is revoked, the App can no longer retrieve data from that account.

Data deletion

You may request deletion of data the App has stored by emailing justinb673@gmail.com. Requests will be completed within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law.

The App is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Intuit Inc. QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc. Your use of QuickBooks Online is governed by Intuit’s own terms and privacy policy.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page with a revised effective date.
